Located in a secluded spot in Northampton, MA, SpiritHouse offers a perfect mix of country and city. The studio has a spacious, acoustically stunning control room and four isolation booths ranging in size with good site lines between.  We have an extensive collection of gear including high end microphones from Telefunken, Neumann, Royer and many others, vintage recording equipment from Neve, Telefunken, API, Avalon, Urie and more. We are experienced in major label projects as well as independent records, spoken word, corporate soundtracks and more. SpiritHouse is fully set up for Surround Sound Mixing to picture for 5:1 DVD projects, live concert mixing and film sound tracks.

It’s been a blast having so many great artists here at the studio and around the house over the past few years.  There is so much creative energy in this house that keeps growing and growing with each session. The vibe here is pretty special and we are grateful that so many artists just keep coming back.  It’s really become a unique family of surrounding SpiritHouse.

The studio is a pretty phenomenal space and the house is pretty rocking as well-Comfortable bedrooms, plenty of bathrooms, great kitchen facilities, cool hanging areas, original artwork, rocking home theatre, exercise room and even a massage bed….  all this combined with 14 acres of beautiful woodlands and the surrounding 500 acres of protected wildlife reserve make for a residential recording experience that is really unmatched. And all this only 2 miles from Northampton center, the coolest little town in America with 80 restaurants, great music venues and art galleries.
